Her story
She didn't plan on becoming a chiropractor. Then she became a patient.
Karen Santini was finishing her pre-med degree at Utica College and working as a patient care technician at Strong Hospital when she fell out of a hammock and injured her lower back. A friend suggested chiropractic. She was skeptical.
Not only did it relieve the back pain — it significantly reduced the migraine headaches she'd suffered since early adolescence. The experience changed everything.
"Her easy-going manner helps patients feel comfortable — and her treatments adapt to the needs of each individual."
